This is home. Our office is at 18186 Collins Avenue, so for most Sunny Isles Beach moves the crew is at your building a few minutes after leaving ours.

Moving in Sunny Isles Beach

Sunny Isles Beach is a city of towers, and most of our moves here happen in condo buildings along Collins Avenue, from the older mid-rises near Haulover to the newer oceanfront towers at the north end of the city. Every building has its own rules: allowed hours, elevator reservations, deposits and a certificate of insurance naming the association. Handling that paperwork is a normal part of our week.

Not every Sunny Isles move is in a tower. Golden Shores, on the west side of Collins near the Intracoastal, is single-family homes with driveways and garages, and those moves look more like a house move anywhere else. We also do a lot of building-to-building moves inside the city, and short moves to Aventura, Golden Beach and Hallandale Beach.

Seasonal owners make up a big part of the city. If you are setting up a unit before you arrive, closing one for the summer or sending furniture to storage, tell us when you book and we will coordinate timing with your building management.

Local know-how

What we plan for in Sunny Isles Beach

  1. 01

    Certificates of insurance

Nearly every association here asks for one. Send us the building’s requirements and we will have it issued and sent before your move.

  2. 02

    Collins Avenue traffic

Collins is the only north–south road through the city. We time arrivals to avoid the worst of it and confirm with the building where the truck can stage.

  3. 03

    Elevator windows

Many buildings allow moves only during set weekday hours. We size the crew so your move fits inside the window.

Questions

Moving in Sunny Isles Beach: questions we hear

How far ahead should I book a move in Sunny Isles during the season?

Winter season, roughly November through April, is busy along Collins Avenue for movers and for building elevators. Book two to four weeks ahead and reserve your elevator as soon as you have a date.

Do you handle moves into new-construction towers?

Yes. New buildings often have stricter rules during the first year of occupancy, such as set delivery slots and specific floor-protection requirements. We follow whatever the developer or association sets.
