Condo and high-rise moving
Our office is on Collins Avenue, surrounded by towers. Building paperwork, padded service elevators and tight loading-dock windows are part of a normal week for us, not a complication.
Paperwork first
Most condo associations in South Florida will not let a moving company through the door without a certificate of insurance, or COI, that names the association as certificate holder. Some also want specific coverage amounts or extra wording. Send us the building’s requirements and we will have the certificate issued and sent to management before your move date.
We also ask for the building’s move-in rules: allowed hours, which elevator to use, whether a deposit is required and where the truck can park. Getting this right in advance is the difference between starting on time and spending the first hour in the lobby.
On the day
The crew checks in with the front desk or security, confirms the elevator reservation and protects the route: elevator pads, floor runners and corner guards where the hallways are narrow. Furniture is wrapped before it leaves your unit so nothing touches walls or the elevator cab bare.
High-rise moves are mostly about keeping the elevator moving. We stage carts near your door and load in full trips, so you are not paying for half-empty rides between floors. When the reserved window is tight, we bring an extra crew member to keep the pace up.

Questions
Condo & High-Rise Moving: common questions
What is a COI and why does my building want one?
A certificate of insurance is a one-page document from our insurer that proves we carry liability coverage. Associations require it so that any damage to common areas, like elevators, lobbies or hallways, is covered by the mover rather than the building. We issue it at no charge once we have the building’s requirements.
My building only allows moves on weekdays. Can you work with that?
Yes. Weekday-only rules are common in Sunny Isles, Aventura and Miami Beach. Tell us the allowed hours when you book and we will schedule the crew to arrive at the start of the window.
Do you move between two high-rises on the same day?
Often. Building-to-building moves along Collins Avenue are some of the most common jobs we do. We coordinate both elevator reservations so the timing lines up at each end.
