Sunrise movers

Sunrise is home to Sawgrass Mills, the Florida Panthers’ arena and a lot of condo and apartment communities. Most of our moves there are condos, apartments and townhomes.

Moving in Sunrise

Eastern Sunrise has established neighborhoods and some of the area’s largest 55-and-over condo communities, such as Sunrise Lakes. Many of these moves are downsizing moves, either into the community from a house or out of it to family or assisted living.

Western Sunrise, near the Sawgrass Expressway, has newer apartment communities, townhomes and corporate offices. Apartment complexes usually require a move reservation and sometimes a certificate of insurance, so ask the leasing office early.

Local know-how

What we plan for in Sunrise

  1. 01

    Association approval

Many condo associations must approve new residents before move-in. Book the move after approval.

  2. 02

    Apartment reservations

Leasing offices often set move times. We schedule the crew to match.

  3. 03

    Arena and mall traffic

Game nights and the holiday season near Sawgrass Mills slow the roads. We plan around them.

Questions

Moving in Sunrise: questions we hear

Our condo association has to approve us first. Does that affect the move?

Only the timing. Most associations will not let you move in until approval is complete, so schedule the move date once you have it. If timing is tight, we can store your things for a few days.

Do you move people into 55+ communities?

Yes, often. We take our time with these moves and can help with packing, partial moves and removing what is not coming along.
